An ebony Aesthetic Movement writing table

A highly unusual Aesthetic Movement ebony writing table. There are three ebony veneered cedar drawers in the panelled frieze all locked from a single Chubb lock. The table is supported on solid ebony splayed reeded columnar legs, joined by a similarly made stretcher. 

The design attributed to Bruce Talbot and possibly made by Jackson and Graham.

England circa 1860.
